Atlanta--Move-ins have recently begun for Post Properties’ 307-unit Post Alexander apartment community, located in Atlanta’s Buckhead district. The property is currently over 15 percent occupied.
Designed by Atlanta-based Cooper Carry, Post Alexander is a five-story apartment building atop two levels of a 530-space parking deck. The target demographic is renters-by-choice.
“Buckhead is an affluent area with a lot of mansions and traditional-style buildings,” explains Chris Culver, project manager for Cooper Carry. “Downtown is starting to boom with mid-rise condos and new retail. This development is meant to look like one of those mansions that you find in some of those neighborhoods.”
Post Alexander offers one-, two- and three-bedroom units ranging from 670 to 1,549 sq. ft. Monthly rents range from $1,080 to $2,670. Each residence includes granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and balconies.
The community includes two courtyards in the middle of the building. The north courtyard offers a wooded landscape, while the southern courtyard features a pool and grill area and is located off the indoor amenity space, which includes a fitness center and two club rooms.
Construction is expected to be complete by the end of July.
